Why are moms great with directions? Because we’re pulled in so many! Trying to find a balance in our lives can, at times, cause us to lose a sense of self. Between the physical changes, mental changes and diaper changes, it’s difficult to find a little “Me-Time”.

Our desire for a local gathering place just for moms (ok... for women in general!), led us to create an online resource that hopefully makes being a Mom a little bit easier. Share your stories and experiences. Find out about local events. Even learn tips and shortcuts from moms just like you. Being a mom is one of life's most rewarding things in the world, but being a woman has its place too.

Join us and other local moms as we share our trials and tribulatons of motherhood, trendy treats, gotta have goody bags (translation: FREE STUFF), and reveal our secrets to balancing it all.

Hello.  I'm a Fort Smith mom of two: Gabriel (6) and Emaline (3).  My family loves adventures of all kinds.  I'll share some of these with you through the site and hopefully encourage you and your family, no matter what stage you're in, to see opportunities to "play" everyday.     
 
Family:: Married 10 years.  Mother to two December babies--what was I thinking! 

Career:: I've never been afraid to try anything.  Some of my work has inlcuded: weather girl, academic advisor, grant writer, marketing director, college instructor, radio & tv commercial talent, advertising.

Desperately Desires:: an organized life, which will continue to be a dream for me 

Last Summer:: Pittsburgh & Chicago (for conferences), Branson, Diggin' for Diamonds and several other AR State Parks (Petit Jean, Devil's Den, Mt. Magazine, & Lake Fort Smith), Orange Beach, AL.  Lots of fun!

Love to-dos:: Hike & camp, take pictures, make crafts with my kids, host family parties, eat cheese dip!

Reading:: Goldy Culinary Mysteries (by Diane Mott Davidson); The Message (I absolutley love this version of the Bible)

Mommy Must-have:: A Colts win on Sunday (Go Peyton!); Time to watch House or Monk each week; My personal Bible study time.
